TEC Solutions was founded in McLean, Virginia by Matt Tallent and Aaron Esposita in 2013. The two were employed as SETAs and supporting a government customer. Deciding it was time for a change they pushed towards something more for themselves, their families, and the customers they were supporting. They wanted to create an agile SETA company that was founded upon hiring great people, where the quality of the individual was as important as their subject matter expertise, that was free of corporate bureaucracy, and where the customer’s mission came first. With the faith and support of their families and friends they launched Tallent and Esposita Consulting.

 

In short order, Tallent and Esposita Consulting brought on Rob Cowan. Rob had unique background and business perspective that fit perfectly with where Matt and Aaron wanted to take the company. The company name was shortened to TEC Solutions, and they embarked on hiring highly qualified individuals that would help them build a company where people mattered and where employees were empowered, respected, and valued.

 

It has not been easy, but nothing worth having ever is. Since 2013 we have been strategic in our growth, embraced change when it was necessary, and expanded our reach into more contracts, customers, and locations. As important, we have done this without compromising on the quality of our employees.

 

TEC Solutions success to date, and in the future, continues to be rooted in the principle of hiring and retaining the right people.
